About Whole Brown Linseed/Flaxseeds
Whole brown linseed (flaxseed) grown in Sussex.
These are the Linseeds that you might see in a shop. Our variety "Brighton" is early maturing. Our customers buy these as an aid for digestion or for general cooking and baking. Also lovely to sprinkle on salads, soups and breakfasts etc.
An excellent source of soluble and insoluble dietary fibre, low in carbohydrate, naturally rich in Omega 3 and Lignans. Use in baking and cooking.
A source of Omega 3 although the body finds it more difficult to absorb the goodness inside the seed shell, so they need to be soaked overnight or grind them yourself.
